Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Foam Holdings, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, in its acquisition of Amvic. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This transaction represents a good example of our ability to identify and execute proprietary, strategic add-on acquisitions for private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Amvic, based in Toronto, Ontario, is a manufacturer of insulated concrete forms, radiant heat flooring insulation, and other insulation products as well as geofoam used in the residential and commercial construction and infrastructure markets. Amvic specializes in producing innovative and cost-effective products for the building envelope industry out of its facilities in Ontario and Calgary.

Foam Holdings, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is a manufacturer and distributor of custom EPS, expanded polypropylene and ARCEL foam products. The company serves the packaging, building products, appliance, cold chain, automotive, consumer and other general industrial end-markets.  This transaction represents the sixth acquisition for Foam Holdings since Wynnchurch formed the company with the acquisitions of Drew Foam, Huntington Insulation and Insulation Corp of America at the end of 2020.
