Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Innovative Chemical Products Group, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, in its acquisition of Benefect. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This transaction represents a good example of our ability to identify and execute proprietary, add-on acquisitions for private equity portfolio companies.  

Benefect, based in Ontario, California, is a leader in next-generation botanical antimicrobials. The company produces disinfectants and cleaning supplies for the environmental restoration and remediation industry. Benefect is an important addition to the ICP Building Solutions Group’s growing portfolio of brands for the building and construction industry.     

ICP Group, based in Andover, Massachusetts, is a leading specialty chemical company engaged in the formulation, manufacturing and marketing of coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers.  ICP serves multiple end markets, including: OEM, industrial, building materials, packaging, printing, specialty construction and sports surfaces. Arizona Polymer will join the current ICP Construction division, which includes market-leading brands California Paints, FixALL, Storm System, Fiberlock, Dry-Treat, California Sports Surfaces, Rock-Tred, Scuffmaster, Zolatone and ClearErase.
