Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive buyside advisor to MeTEOR Education, a portfolio company of Bain Capital Double Impact, in its acquisition of Advanced Technologies Consultants. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This transaction represents the fourth proprietary acquisition that we have sourced and closed for MeTEOR.

Advanced Technologies Consultants, based in Plymouth, Michigan, is a leading distributor of name-brand technical training curriculum, equipment, software, and furniture. ATC provides a complement of services beginning with curriculum programming, planning, selection, implementation and on-going training and support services.

MeTEOR Education, based in Gainesville, Florida designs, supplies, and outfits K-12 common areas, laboratories, and learning spaces that optimize student learning. MeTEOR offers end-to-end design and project management services with a product portfolio consisting of adaptable furniture, technology-integrated classroom equipment, learning displays, decor, and online teaching resources. In 2023, MeTEOR partnered with over 1,000 districts across the US to impact the educational experience of more than 185,000 students.
