Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to MeTEOR Education, a portfolio company of Saw Mill Capital in its acquisition of Worthington Contract Furniture. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This transaction represents the second proprietary acquisition that we have sourced and closed for MeTEOR in the last year. 

Worthington Contract Furniture, based in Austin, Texas is a leading distributor of educational furniture and equipment, representing over 100 product lines including auditorium seating, bleachers, science labs, libraries and full-school turnkey furniture projects. Worthington serves their clients through a deep knowledge of the K-12 learning environment.

MeTEOR Education, based in Gainesville, Florida designs, supplies, and outfits K-12 common areas, laboratories, and learning spaces that optimize student learning. MeTEOR offers end-to-end design and project management services with a product portfolio consisting of adaptable furniture, technology-integrated classroom equipment, learning displays, decor and online teaching resources.
