Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to MeTEOR Education, a portfolio company of Bain Capital Double Impact in its acquisition of Blankenship Associates.  Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This transaction represents the third proprietary acquisition that we have sourced and closed for MeTEOR.  Just prior to the Blankenship transaction, MeTEOR received a growth investment from Bain Double Impact Fund after many years of partnership with Saw Mill Capital Partners.    

Blankenship Associates, based in Raleigh, North Carolina offers a variety of products for K-12 facilities, including design assistance and product discovery, accompanied by full delivery and installation services.  Products include furniture, athletic equipment, laboratory casework and media centers and are provided to end-users, architects and the construction industry across North Carolina and South Carolina.   

MeTEOR Education, based in Gainesville, Florida designs, supplies, and outfits K-12 common areas, laboratories, and learning spaces that optimize student learning.  MeTEOR offers end-to-end design and project management services with a product portfolio consisting of adaptable furniture, technology-integrated classroom equipment, learning displays, decor and online teaching resources.
