Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Quirch Foods, a portfolio company of Palladium Equity Partners, in its acquisition of Scariano Wholesale Foods.  Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as assisting with the evaluation of a transaction.  This transaction represents our second sourced acquisition for Quirch Foods and is a good example of our ability to identify and execute proprietary, strategic add-on acquisitions for private equity portfolio companies.  

Scariano Wholesale Foods, based in Hammond, Louisiana, is a leading wholesale protein and specialty foods distributor serving the Southeastern United States.  Distributed retail food products include beef, pork, poultry seafood, deli items, and frozen vegetables.   Products are sold to independent retail grocers, specialty meat shops, processors, and partner distributors.

Quirch Foods, based in Miami, Florida, is a food distribution company servicing large and independent retailers across the United States, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. With one of the most extensive portfolios of brands for a distributor of its type and size, Quirch operates seventeen distribution facilities with over 1,000,000 square feet of refrigerated warehouse space. Quirch Foods ® is the exclusive distributor of Chiquita ® Brands frozen Tropicals and Fruits, Panamei ® Seafood, Kikiriquirch ® poultry, and Mambo ® Foods.
