Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Transtar Holding Company, a portfolio company of Blue Point Capital Partners in its acquisition of C&M Auto Parts.  Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This transaction represents a good example of our ability to source and close proprietary add-on acquisitions for the portfolio companies of private equity firms.    

C&M Auto Parts, based in Trenton, New Jersey is a supplier of parts for autos and light trucks.  The company serves independent, regional and national repair shops, dealerships, Government and fleets throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania through four warehouses across their territories. 

Transtar Holding Company, based in Walton Hills, Ohio is a global leader in the value-added distribution of original equipment and aftermarket automotive products to the transmission and driveline repair market.  Transtar offers thousands of branded and proprietary parts to transmission repair shops and other automotive channels domestically and to 80 countries globally using its network across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
