Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive buyside advisor to Xylem Kendall, a portfolio company of Sterling Investment Partners, in two unrelated acquisitions consisting of Hardin Tree and Endrizzi Contracting. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. These acquisitions represent great examples of the benefits of direct outreach as these transactions were sourced and closed without an M&A advisor representing the seller.

Hardin Tree, based in Collinsville, Oklahoma, is a leading provider of right-of-way vegetation management and land clearing services for utility customers throughout Oklahoma and Texas. Founded in 2011, Hardin as built a solid reputation for delivering exceptional services that prioritize safety and reliability.

Endrizzi Contracting, based in Vienna, Illinois, is one of the Midwest’s leading vegetation management and right of way clearance providers. Since its founding in 1998, Endrizzi has served a diverse range of clients, including utility companies, electric co-ops, and municipalities, across Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky.

Xylem Tree Experts, headquartered in Wakefield, VA, and Kendall Vegetation Services, headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA, are both leading providers of critical vegetation management services. The two companies have operated under the Sterling umbrella since September of 2022, and together create one of the largest vegetation management providers across the United States serving major investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, and municipalities.
