Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive buyside advisor to Xylem Kendall, a portfolio company of Sterling Investment Partners, in its acquisition of Texar Line Clearance. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction.

Texar Line Clearance, based in Texarkana, Arkansas, is a leading excavation, vegetation management, and site preparation company. Founded in 2009, Texar has grown to become one of the premier utility right-of-way providers throughout the tri-state area, boasting a team of 200 employees and 350 pieces of equipment to serve their client’s needs.

Xylem Tree Experts, headquartered in Wakefield, VA, and Kendall Vegetation Services, headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA, are both leading providers of critical vegetation management services. The two companies have operated under the Sterling umbrella since September of 2022, and together create one of the largest vegetation management providers across the United States serving major investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, and municipalities.
